International studies have suggested a dip in survival rates of those suffering from cancer in India over the last few years. Despite the increasing technological advancements and emergence of specialised cancer care centres across the country, inequitable access to early diagnosis and optimal treatment have marred the progress we have made in cancer prevention and treatment. Financial constraints is often the leading cause of deferred and delayed treatment in rural and urban India.

Taking cognizance of this, we provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged patients undergoing cancer treatment at any stage.

To ensure the appropriate use of funds, we provide the funds directly to the nursing home, hospital or doctor providing cancer care. Patients in need of support are required to provide us the following details:

• Type of cancer
• Line of treatment
• Name of doctor providing treatment
• Reason for seeking financial assistance
