Financial Assistance:

Despite increasing technological advancements and cancer care centers, financial constraints often delay the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cancer in rural and urban India.
Taking cognizance of this, we provide financial assistance for medicine and treatment to the economically disadvantaged patients at any stage of the cancer treatment.

Awareness and Screening:

We raise awareness on cancer prevention and cure through screening and awareness camps that provide comprehensive information on the disease. We believe that the earlier the detection, the better the treatment options. These camps have been conducted across Mumbai – from housing societies to slums – and in distant rural villages of Jharkhand, Gujarat and Uttarakhand. Our special focus is on camps conducted for the early detection of breast cancer.

Educational Activities:

We believe that becoming a physician, nurse or other healthcare specialist requires many years of education. But the learning doesn’t stop once the practice begins – learning continues by way of Continued Medical Education(CME).
N K Dhabhar Cancer Foundation regularly organizes conferences and CMEs to ascertain that the best medical practices are followed in the field of Oncology.

Wellness and Palliative Care:

The Oncare Centre is a state-of-the-art medical facility built to support people living with cancer and their families in a Happy, Comforting and Home-Like setting.

We have formulated a professional plan of care to relieve suffering in all areas of a patient’s life involving physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists. We provide other allied services like spiritual and recreational facilities for patients. Through this multidisciplinary approach, we wish to address physical, emotional, spiritual and social concerns that arise even with advanced stage cancer.
